April 20, 2002

My first day as a real Dr. Dog...it was really fun and tiring! I went to the Wong Chuk Hang senior home. Most of the people were really nice, some were not. There were lots of dogs there too, but I was the smallest, again. Even though I'm small I don't let the big dogs get away with anything. I really liked it when the old folks petted me and talked to me, even though I don't understand them. Here I am with some of them.

March 9, 2002

I got my teeth cleaned today! It was not fun. Dr. Kylie also gave me a shot. Mom said it was to prevent heartworms, but I don't have worms! Dr. Kylie said my dosage was the smallest she had ever given! I'm the smallest animal at her practice.

February 10, 2002 - Dr. Dog Test Day

Mom was pretty nervous about me and the test. I was tired from the cab ride to Kowloon, so I wasn't very social. Mom kept on saying, "Go say 'hi'.", but that was the last thing I wanted to do. I felt better once Mom picked my up. Then I can really look around.

Here I am, being "tested" by the founder of Animals Asia Jill Robinson. Every one was very nice, but they kept pulling the hair on my muzzle. It's the weirdest greeting I ever got. Mom says I passed. Now I have to get a physical too! I hope all this is worth it!

December 27, 2001

I spent Christmas alone this year...Mom and Dad went on a vacation. But I told them how unhappy with the situation by getting sick. I have a throat cold and an upset stomach. They were nice in bringing me to work today, but I still threw up at Mom's office, twice. I couldn't help myself. I went to the doctor's twice! Once with Mom and once with Dad. My doctor gave my mom some yummy food to feed me. I really like it, lamb and rice. I am trying to get better now, it's no fun being sick.

December 21, 2001

Here I am with Mom. Mom and Dad opened presents tonight. I was made to wear my red Burberry sweater. Although I looked as cute as a button, I had a hard time walking. So I just sat. I think Mom liked that, she kept on taking pictures of me.

At first I didn't really like Choco. That's why when Dad came home he was on the floor and with some of Choco's hair. I think he looks a little like me (but I'm cuter), that's why I didn't like him. But Mom and Dad seem to love me still, even with Choco in the picture. So now I tolerate him, and Mom making us pose together.

I went to see my vet, Dr. Kylie, on Saturday, December 1st. I have gained a whole pound since coming to Hong Kong on November 17th, 2000. Now I weigh 4.5 pounds (2 kg) and am cuter than ever.
