The buildings in the back are where the people lived their
day-to-day lives.
Behind the front rooms there are six clusters of homes, one
for each of the brothers. This building above (center photo) is where my
grandfather spent his childhood. He recognized the building immediately by its
name. In the back of the homes there is a huge lily pond.
Distant Relative

As we walked around the lily pond, we discovered a distant
relative living in one of the houses. He graciously allowed us into his home.
Stepping into the doorway was truly a step back in time.

As we can unexpectedly, he was just starting to
prepare his meal over the open hearth.
