The long and short of it is that I have busted my big toenails on last
Sunday's run. There were long stretches of downhill running and my toes kept
bumping against the front of my shoes. Both of my big toenails are slated to
fall off soon. So I'm sitting out today's 20K run. Jonathan, being the
trooper that he is, is out there running as I type.
I have taken some pictures of our apartment
here in Hong Kong. it has our new furniture we had made in Bali, Indonesia.

Jonathan and I are still training for the marathon. But it's getting harder
because we're busier and the weather is hot, hot, hot! We make all the long
Sunday runs. Last Sunday we did 18K (10 miles). It was exhausting, especially
with all the hills here.
Aside from the running I've picked up yoga. I go to a yoga school called Sriyoga.
I like it because the teachers really challenge you and all the instructors
are Indian, so it's very authentic. I go twice a week. My main aim is
flexibility. With all that running, my muscles are always "on" and
bunched. Yoga is just the opposite and allows my muscles and limbs to stretch.
I think running and yoga are good complements.
Jonathan's been busy with his Korean deal. His rugby practices have started
too.
Came back from a Seoul visit to see Jonathan. He's been in Korea
for the past two months. We have stuck to our marathon training schedule and
even squeezed in a 12K run on Sunday at the hotel. Back in HK, things are same
old with my job. My friend Steph finally came back after an extended stint to
LA. The HK rugby 7s USA jerseys were a hit with all our "dads".
I know, it's been ages since I last updated this. My excuses: been busy and
can't find digital camera! Our newest project is the Honolulu
marathon on December 14, 2003. We have joined a running clinic and are now
training. Jonathan's been busy up in Korea. He goes up Sunday/Monday and comes
back on Fridays. The pup and I try to manage without him. The pup, Emma, has a
new haircut! (I wish I could find my digicam.) It's an allover short cut, but
her face is still round and she still has her ponytail. The three of us have
been hiking again. We are all a little out of shape but are finally getting
back into the swing of things.
