The decor surprised me.
The Milk Cow
Our driver is from MeiXian. We were talking in the car (trip
was five and a half hours each way) I wondered out loud if the milk cows in
China were black and white, like the milk cows in the US. Our driver said that
there is a milk cow in his town where you can buy fresh milk, straight from the
cow. I had to go see this cow.
My first glimpse of the cow. It is literally in the middle of
town, in an empty lot between two low-rise buildings.

Milking the cow. I imagined it would be soft and supple,
instead, the nipple was calloused. And you had to pull hard to get the milk out.
